Tea
parties were always a favorite child hood game. My mom always elaborated our
parties by making delicious foods that we could eat with our dainty porcelain
cups and bowls. Broccoli Cheese soup and cucumber sandwiches were always a
must. My mom created this soup on her own in trying to imitate Apple Bee’s. The
results? Savory success. To this day, no matter where I order Broccoli Cheese
soup, it’s just never as tasty as ‘when mamma used to make it.’
